Early Inuit Indian Seal Skin Kayak Toy.
Has shipping date of 1920 but appraised mid 1800's by two well known auction houses in the San Francisco Bay Area..
Toy is completely encased in plastic box. Kayak is approximately 15" long. Kayak, all sinew stitching, is fully equip for a hunting excursion even has sled and array of harpoons, sinew rope and other implements required for far northern hunting and fishing. Kayak occupant is dressed in proper Inuit seal skin parka (qulittage) craftsmanship is beyond what we found on the internet. This piece is in as found condition with no damage what so ever. A museum piece of the highest quality. More picture on request.
